Singin' in the Rain finally opens tonight! After a year plus an extra week of waiting, this production that so many people have poured their hearts and souls into is finally set to hit the stage. What a difference a week can make. Last Friday, the set was in shambles after major wind damage sustained during a thunderstorm on Thursday, and we didn't know when, or even if, we would be able to open the show. Singin’ in the Rain Opening Night Moved to July 21

Trollwood Performing Arts School regrets to announce that due to the extensive damage caused by Thursday's thunderstorm, our production of Singin' in the Rain will undergo a necessary rebuild. The show will now open on Friday, July 21, with additional performances scheduled for Sunday, July 23, and Tuesday, July 25. Unfortunately, all previously scheduled performances from July 13 to July 20 have been canceled. Performance dates are now July 21-23, and July 25-29. Singin’ in the Rain Canceled July 13 & 14

Due to extreme damage to our set from tonight’s thunderstorm, we have been forced to cancel the performances of Singin' in the Rain for Thursday, July 13 and Friday, July 14. The status of future performances is unknown at this time. We are assessing the situation and will have more information by Friday. Tickets for Thursday and Friday’s performances will be honored for future performances, but our box office is unable to make exchanges at this time. Our box office will contact those with tickets for canceled performances as soon as we have more information.

Sun Celebration was an amazing success! Tremendous job to all of the students who performed and participated at Sun Celebration - you all were incredible! And thank you to everybody who came out to support our students and show them that this community appreciates the performing arts! Sun Celebration marked the end of Trollwood Academy and Totally Trollwood Academy and we can't believe they're already over. June flew by!
