Join us for an evening of food, fun, and performances in the celebration of our student artists and help support Trollwood Performing Arts School!
Our students have been working hard, building their skills and confidence at Trollwood Academy and Totally Trollwood Academy this summer. They are ready to show the public what they have accomplished! Sun Celebration is a free and family-friendly event, but be prepared to purchase food from the vendors!
- The evening kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with the opportunity to enjoy fun activities and games for the whole family and grab some delicious food from an array of food trucks, including Black Bird Woodfire Pizza, Broskis Birria Street Tacos, Bomb Dogs, and Tropical Sno! Each truck is generously donating a portion of their proceeds to Trollwood! Food vendors will be available throughout the evening.
- Entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m., as a variety of classes in acting, filmmaking, singing, dancing, technical theatre, and more will give demonstrations and performances simultaneously throughout the grounds. The evening will follow the schedule of a school day at Trollwood with demonstrations occurring in four periods.
- At 7:30 p.m., between Periods 2 and 3, will be the all-new Sunshine Showcase! The showcase will feature Senior Recognition and a sneak peek performance from The Addams Family outside Marcil Commons.
- Feel free to pick out the performances that interest you the most or follow your child or friend’s schedule and see all of their class demonstrations! Periods run from 6:30-6:50, 7-7:20, 8:10-8:30, and 8:40-9, with the Sunshine Showcase from 7:30-8.
- Don’t forget to bring a blanket to relax on the lawn while enjoying the multitude of entertainment options and a delicious picnic with your family and friends from our food truck vendors.
