Get ready for a spook-tacular adventure at Trollwood Performing Arts School as we announce our 2024 Mainstage Musical, The Addams Family! We’re bringing the delightfully macabre world of the Addams family to life at the Bluestem Amphitheater. Join us for a whirlwind of comedy, love, and good old-fashioned family mayhem as we explore the hilariously haunted antics of Wednesday, Gomez, Morticia, and the rest of the clan.
This is your chance to dive into a world of creative expression and laughter. We’re calling all students to bring their unique talents to the stage. Whether you’re an aspiring actor, musician, or behind-the-scenes wizard, this show is the perfect opportunity to shine. Let’s fill the amphitheater with the vibrant energy and talent that only our Trollwood students can provide!
Mark your calendars! Performances are scheduled for July 16-20 and 23-27 at Bluestem Center for the Arts, home of Trollwood Performing Arts School. Group ticket sales start December 11, and regular ticket sales begin April 15. Check out www.trollwood.org/box-office for all the details.
Auditions are coming up! Actors and singers, join us on February 17-18, with callbacks on February 19-20. Orchestra auditions are set for March 6-9. Synopsis from Theatrical Rights Worldwide: The Addams Family, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
