CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!
There’s a place for everyone at Trollwood! You can volunteer in any area that interests you and no experience is required. How about putting your time and talents to work as an usher, concessionaire, or traffic control volunteer during our Mainstage Musical? If you like to sew, build or paint sets – plenty of projects would benefit from your contributions.
We’d love for YOU to join the Trollwood volunteer force. Without the hundreds of volunteers and thousands of hours put in each year, Trollwood would not be able to have such a positive impact on the youth of our region.
As of June 3, we will begin taking Mainstage Musical volunteer signups via SignUpGenius.com. You can view open volunteer slots and sign up for any day or time that works for you! A SignUpGenius account is not required but highly recommended for easy access to your volunteer schedule.
As a thank you for generously giving of your time to Trollwood, for every 5 volunteer hours, you will receive a complimentary general admission voucher for this season’s Mainstage Musical up to a maximum of 10 vouchers. These vouchers can be turned in at the Box Office for general admission tickets, used toward reserved admission tickets to reduce the cost, or given to friends and family so they can attend! | Mainstage Musical Concessions | Assist with concession set-up, sales, and/or clean up. (July 14-17, 21-24, 28-31) |
| Mainstage Musical Costuming | Assist with the various aspects of costume preparation and construction for the Mainstage Musical (June 7-July 31) |
| Mainstage Musical Electrics | Assist with installing lighting for the Mainstage Musical (June 7-July 13) |
| Mainstage Musical First Aid Team | Attend shows and be available to respond to any medical emergencies. (July 14-17, 21-24, 28-31) |
| Mainstage Musical Golf Cart Transportation | Shuttle patrons to and from their cars in golf carts. (July 14-17, 21-24, 28-31) |
| Mainstage Musical Makeup and Hair | Help with makeup and hair during dress rehearsals and performances. (July 5-17, 21-24, 28-31) |
| Mainstage Musical Parking/Traffic Control | Sport a nifty reflective vest and help direct traffic before and after the show. (July 14-17, 21-24, 28-31) |
| Mainstage Musical Props | Assist in acquiring and/or building props for the Mainstage Musical. (June 7-July 13) |
| Mainstage Musical Scenic Painting | Help texture and paint the set. (June 7-July 13) |
| Mainstage Musical Set Construction | Assist with various construction projects for the Mainstage Musical set. (June 7-July 13) |
| Mainstage Musical Ushers/Greeters | Prepare show area before performances, stuff programs, meet and greet patrons, take tickets, usher audience members to their seats, and clean up after the show. (July 14-17, 21-24, 28-31) |
| Mainstage Musical Merchandise Table | Help sell Mainstage Musical merchandise before the show and at intermission. (July 14-17, 21-24, 28-31) |
| Mainstage Musical Wireless Mic Positioning | Help position wireless microphones in the cast members’ hair before Mainstage Musical performances and dress rehearsals. (Tech week: July 5-13 & Performances July 14-17, 21-24, 28-31) |
| Poster Distribution | Put up performance posters in the Fargo/Moorhead/West Fargo area and in surrounding communities. (Starting June 3rd) |
