  • I give permission for my child/myself to be transported to official off-campus Trollwood activities such as poster distribution, inclement weather relocation, field trips, and/or promotional performances. I understand, acknowledge and agree that:

    The Fargo Public School Board will provide for reasonable supervision of students within its care and control. The supervision will be consistent with the ages of the students. However, the School Board is not an insurer of the safety of the students nor can it supervise all movements of all students at all times.

    In addition, there are certain risks inherent in travel and at the destination. Fargo Public Schools does not carry coverage for student accident insurance. I understand that if my child/I should be injured, I will be responsible for medical expenses. I further understand that an employee or volunteer has no personal liability unless he or she has acted recklessly, wantonly, or intentionally to injure my child/myself.

    Parent/guardian and/or Trollwood student: carefully read all of the policies and procedures on website. No registration will be processed without a signature, accompanying registration fee payment and payment option selection. By signing below I acknowledge that: (1) I have read and agree to abide by the Trollwood Policies and Procedures. (2) I agree to pay all registration, program and other applicable fees in full (unless funded through scholarship and/or financial aid).

    Media Release Statement. My signature below grants consent to Trollwood for the use of media images, including but not limited to photographs, film, digital images and video, interviews, and survey responses involving my child/myself for publicity and marketing purposes for the organization. These may appear in, but are not limited to, publications, presentations, advertisements, websites, or media showings of Trollwood programs and performances.

  • Mainstage Musical

    June 1 - August 4, 2023

    • Kick-Off Meeting: Student and parent/guardian attendance is REQUIRED. June 1, 2023, Trollwood Marcil Commons.
    • Orientation: Student attendance is REQUIRED. June 5, 11:00am-12:00pm, Trollwood Marcil Commons.
  • NOTE: $50 Mainstage Musical Cast Fee will be assessed. This fee helps off-set costuming costs for Singin' in the Rain.

    NOTE: Mainstage Musical cast participants must register for 1 or more Trollwood Academy or Conservatory classes, and assist with the technical theatre needs for Singin' in the Rain.

  • Be part of the Singin' in the Rain Orchestra. Audition Required.

  • Prerequisite: Previous technical theatre experience
    Dates: July 2-August 4, 2023

    Run Crew members are students who operate equipment and carry out various technical theatre functions of the Mainstage Musical during performances. Running crew roles are determined by department heads, who consider the student’s dedication to learning, their performance throughout construction sessions, and their ability to handle responsibility. It is strongly recommended that you also sign up for either “Mainstage Musical Technical Theatre Experience” or “Technical Theatre Independent Study” if your schedule allows.

  • Prerequisite: Prior technical theatre experience required. Must have worked as a technician on a minimum of 2 high school shows or have taken 2 years of Trollwood technical theatre classes.
    Dates: June 5-28, 2023
    Help build the colorful world of the Mainstage Musical. The department head of your chosen area will work with you to create your ideal schedule!

  • The Trollwood Players

    July 17 - August 10
    • A fun and creative non-musical performance opportunity!
    • This year's show is The Best of Sketch Comedy II; an original collection of short plays written and directed by Scott McClure.
    • Rehearsal: Attendance is REQUIRED. First day of rehearsal is July 17. Rehearsals will meet 9:00am – 1:00pm, Monday – Thursday at Fargo South High School.
    • Orientation: Attendance is REQUIRED. June 5, 11:00 AM–12:00 PM, Trollwood Marcil Commons.
    • Please review the Trollwood Players webpage for program details.
  • Cast: Program filled on a first come, first served basis. Auditions will be held the first day to assign roles.

  • Tech Theatre: Build and/or paint the set, sew the costumes, focus the lights, craft the props, prep the sound, style hair/make-up.

  • Trollwood Academy

    June 5 - 28

    • Orientation: Attendance REQUIRED. Get to know each other and meet the faculty, June 5, 11:00 AM–12:00 PM.

    July 5 - August 3
  • Open enrollment. Program filled on a first come, first served basis.

    • Orientation: July 5, 7:00 PM, Location Trollwood Perorming Arts School, 801 50th Ave S. Moorhead. Attendance of student and one parent is REQUIRED.
    • Rehearsal & Performance Location: Fargo North High School, 801 17th Ave N, Fargo, ND.
    • Rehearsal Times: Tuesday–Thursday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm full cast rehearsals. Mondays, 8:30 am–4:30 pm rehearsals for featured roles and others as scheduled. Fridays tech work scheduled as needed. NOTE: Monday, July 10th will be a FULL CAST rehearsal and Monday, July 31st will be a dress rehearsal for FULL CAST.
    • Performances: August 1 and 2 at 2:00pm & 7:00pm, Fargo North High School.
    • Strike & Production Party: August 3, 8:30am-12:00pm, Fargo North High School.

    • Orientation: All Totally Trollwood Academy students are required to participate in Orientation June 5, 9:00-10:30am at Trollwood. Classes begin after orientation.
